A Relaxing Break In The Countryside, Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa

I need to tell you about my little weekend getaway at Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa in Warminster. Well, I say tell you, but as a picture says 1,000 words I'll show you instead.
We got this great little deal off Secret Escapes and treated ourselves to two nights of chilled out pampering. It was so different being surrounded by greenery and clean air, we couldn't help but relax as soon as we arrived.
First off, let me introduce you to our suite, The Dorchester, (there are only three in the whole hotel)
...sweet right? The rest of the place was decked out in the same cosy manner too.

The perfect setting for an autumnal evening and a bonus treat of complementary tea and scones. Well, it'd be rude not to.
The next morning was all about the treatments. We got a couples Rasul Mud treatment as part of our package which meant we got seven minutes to rub cleansing soft mud into each other before sitting in a steam room to let it sink into your pores and work its mud magic.
Covering yourself in mud makes you a warrior right?
It's surprising how tiring doing nothing but relaxing, bathing and pampering can be, but I'm so glad we had this bed to climb into and wake up in, it was like laying in a cloud!
The only let down of the holiday was the food really, we couldn't find anything that really floated our boat, but apart from that, time stood still for those two days and it was great. It's the first time we've done a UK Staycation, and we may just do it again!
